You can also say that the chains represent attachments with the ones pretty much moved because of their past or emotion having more chains like Suzaku and Kallen while VV and Charles wants to be free of these attachments. The wings can be something like following Order(Law) and Chaos(emotion). Since both Kallen and CC follow whatever their desires and not some rule then they have black wings. For the ones with white wings; Suzaku stays true with Britannia, Anya follows her superiors and VV stayed through his ideals despite betraying his brother, they all have white wings. This can also be true with their clothing. Those in black are moved by emotion while those in white are moved in by logic.

Nah because this thing suddenly starting after a top tier episode always caught me off guard

This might sound like I'm bring critical but why is the art of these end credits so sexualized like chians, fully revealing clothes. It's kinda wired

it was a good anime, but as always it ends up giving continuity spoiling a finished story...

Code Geass Season 2 ending 1: Shiawase Neiro It features many slides. We see Lelouch, then Rollo and Nunnally. Follows up with Cornellia and Euphie at 0:30 (probably the Last Ending to feature Euphie, for she wasn't featured in Ending 2 of Season 2, probably someone was replaced) Then Gino and Anya arrives at the scene. V2 and Charles. Follows up with Kallen, Suzaku and lastly C2. The ending song is really emotional like a soundtrack in a Disney animated film. The song is purely emotions.

I got chills when I realized the lyrics foreshadows Lelouch true goal

Wow just realised all the symbolism , lelouch has all the chains , rolo and nunally dont have so many chains & rolo is jealous of nunally having ribbons cover her instead of chains, Cornelia is protecting euphy from the chains with a sword Charles and V V have the chains but its floating aroung them and cannot touch them. Kallen is the one with the neck braclet , she is the slave but the only one proud to have it. Suzuakus hands are tied by the chains.
